Using Matrix Algebra

Differential equations can be solved using matrix algebra. The advantages to this method are that second, third, fourth and even higher order differential equations can be all solved as first order differential equations and that when forced to find a numerical solution (as opposed to the analytic solutions shown in the first two methods), most computer tools expect the input to be in matrix format.
