September 25, 2006:
Minister Khaw Boon Wan visits GMS
Part of the excitement of being part of starting GMS is the opportunity to share with others what we are building. On Monday, 25 September, Singapore Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan toured the GMS Interim Campus with other MOH officers and members of the Governing Board (Tony Chew, Prof Tan Ser Kiat, Dr Jennifer Lee and Dr Andre Wan). They were accompanied by GMS Vice Deans (Giselia, Bob, Frank) and other GMS staffers from Block 5 through Block 3 and Block 1, then up to the Block C research labs and then back to Block 5 for a small ceremony. Minister Khaw Boon Wan started a tradition and was the first to sign our guest book.
