This is some sort of interesting insect

This is a lynx spider, Oxyopes birmaniscus hiding under a blade of grass. I learned from this episode the virtue of being short. To photograph the insect, I set up my tripod close to the ground and then sat down. Sitting down, I was able to look up and saw the Lynx hiding under a nearby blade of grass.
