Photo Adventures with Curiosity and Learning

November 04, 2015: Argiope aurantia, an Assassin bug and caterpillar

Having located the Argiope aurantia, I decided today to try to make a video of her painting her stabilimenta - only I forgot that if she is eating, then no painting until breakfast is complete - I waited for 2 hours and she was still munching on breakfast. I looked around - found an assassin bug and a caterpillar - a surprise. I'll try again tomorrow

Each morning at 6am I go outside and take a photo of Jupiter, Venus and Mars - part of an exercise to document planetary movement and part of working with Fu Ying En with her discovery of curiosity and the fun of learning. I've overlaid Oct 31 and Nov 4 images and aligned Venus. The movement is there. Now the differences in relative motion
