May 15, 2007: Grass cutting at Queensway Secondary School

I thought I would stop work early today (5pm) and visit my spider place. I was just plain tired and near burnout. When I got there, "they" had mowed the grass around the perimeter of the forest. Normally this would be good, but as I approached the web of our Nephila color morph, I could see that she was not there - at least her web was absent. Then I looked to the right and there were a few small strands remaining - and there she was.

Here she is - a few silk strands and many little Argyrodes - they have no place to go
