It was about 5:30 and near sunset. We walked to the nearby kampong (fishing village) to take a look around and practice bracket shooting (shooting 3 image, underexposed, ok and overexposed - at least that is the way its supposed to work). The idea is that you can use part of the overexposed image to recover details lost in the underexposed image. Part of a technique called high dynamic range (a google search for the curious).
