Another adventure. I started from Charleston with Delta as usual - then to Atlanta and a direct flight to Athens (upper track from GPS ) and returned via the lower track. Note on the map of Greece, that it seems that all my Delta flights pass near Patras - a chance to wave "hello" as I finally approach the Athens airport and then to wave "until next time" as I pass over the University, on my way home.
Arriving in Athens, I took the next flight to Xania Crete – then directly to the Halepa Hotel where I collapsed. My colleague Tassos Boundis and his colleagues at the Technical University of Crete had planned, for the next morning (6am) a visit to Samaria gorge - 2 hour bus ride followed by a 15 km walk through unbelievable forests:
Our family
And there was pleasant ending to our walk through the gorge - someone was "here" and someone was "there".
Can you guess who is where?
