It was off to QSS this morning. There was a heavy dew with large drops on banana leaves (and other things as well). I thought it would be fun to take a few shots of the drops

There was this little hover fly buzzing around the grass. I lowered my tripod and got a few shots

I found a juvenile Nephila pilipes and as I set my tripot into the brush - the vibration spooked her. Here she is in the "I'm about to run" conformation

Then there was another hoverfly - trying to grab a small ball of morning dew

Then he started hovering

On the approach to land

Alighting on another whatever - with an ant on the other side. Plenty of everything for everyone
