Bea, Lucia and I have been building our understanding of the source-sink relationship associated with successful or unsuccessful propagation of cardiac action potentials. Their work with ischemia and other alterations of cardiac tissue has led to some very interesting insights into the association of proarrhythmic potential and refractory dispersion compared with the safetfy factor. This morning Lucia and I explore the SF estimation using stationary waves from Fitzhugh-Nagumo models of a trigger wave (potential dependent excitation current, constant inhibitory current). Here is Lucia thinking

and results
Some hours later, we left for lunch - a small fishing village south of Valencia - that now is a village of restuarants. We stopped at a scenic place on the lake that feeds the adjacent rice fields

Then to the restuarant - bread and water
Then wine
The a collection of Tapas - Eel
Grilled veges
Calamari
Then arroz caldaso de marisco
