Photo Adventures with Curiosity and Learning

We came to Bangkok to start Ellen's birthday celebration. Here is our flight path via Google Maps

Our first night displayed many colorful boats moving about on the Chao Pharya river. I explored 30 sec exposures and got some interesting results

I like the curvey patterns of light

Here the lights are straight lines

Then at 9pm - the fireworks started - these are 5 sec exposures.

I shot them as raw images and it proved useful - restoring the colors that would have been lost with jpeg compression
