Arrival
Susan's Arrival and a SurpriseSusan appeared just after I arrived - pretty good timing. How does she know I've arrived. Anyway - after she arrived two brothers arrived and they were enjoying a quite and peaceful breakfast, sharing with each other. Then they snapped to high alert and then raced to the nearest tree. A 4th raccoon arrived - either Grumpy, the brother, or Bebe, the mom. The next video collage shows both the tentative behavior of two of the kids, climbing down from a tree and her hyper-aggressive hissing, growling and chasing away.

Three hungry raccoons
On Alert while eating - then retreating to the nearest tree
Kids transition from eating to high alert statusEnjoying breakfast until something disturbed them (0:16) and they make a hasty retreat to the nearest trees (the last escaping at 0:40). A 4th raccoon arrives (from the upper left) at 0:58 and makes some grunting and growling noises and starts eating breakfast.

Susan slowly approaches and is chased away by Grumpy
Aggressive behavior from the Intruder
Unusual Hyper-aggressive table mannersThis shows Grumpy's attitude towards the other kids as they approach "Their" breakfast - They were first. At 0:20, the newcomer goes on high alert and at 0:50 one of the kids approaches from the left. At 1:00 the newcomer starts hissing and growling and at 1:30 chasing one of the kids away. I've not seen this sort of aggressive behavior - and clearly "fear" of the 3 others.
