On my way back from Queenstown Lutheran Church, I often walk along the edge of the forest between MacDonalds and Queensway Secondary School. Today I was looking for another Argiode but first passed by our dragonfly stream. They were out, but not very photogenic today
A red dragonfly
Sort of a brown dragonfly (from the front)
Same guy from behind
A red dragonfly
One of those interesting yellow flowers - some sort of mangrove flower?
But here was my prize. Several photos of this unbelievable color morph of Nephila pilipes
Closer and you can see little orange blobs that are the Argyrodes
Here you can see little orange dots - where Argyrodes have alread invaded
Another view
I found yesterday's spot - but no Argiope (as yesterday), but no Nephila pilipes and only a remnant of the web with some unfocused Argyrodes
and finally a bit better focus
Then continuing to lunch - I always pass a small papaya tree. There was a nice may who pointed out the flowers - as here
and here
and here
The papaya
and tree
Then a group of morning glories
Finally my hawker center - the drink lady
and my favorite dinner place
and my favorite dinner guy - who just picks something for me and it is always tasty
