I got up early and just wandered around the streets of Thiruvanmiyur - near Raj's home and church.

Many large bellies in India - and I don't know if this is malnutrition - or just eating too much

Interesting juxtaposition - a Hindu temple and vegetable market.

And this guy just wanted me to take his photo. Impossible to refuse

Public housing is slowly replacing the thatched huts - here is a street showing a mixture

And the egg man - can you imagine - driving this tricycle around and not breaking an egg?

Sanitation is a real issue all over India - and personal hygiene (or lack thereof) is the basis for much of the disease in India

A family often travels on the same bike - this is typical.
