This is a little backward - but at our flat, there was a Chinese Dragon and Lion Dance with drummers. Here are some short segments:
End of the Lion Dance with drumming
Dragon Dance
Around the pool and end of Dragon Dance
Now back to Saturday morning spider hunting: Yu Hyun used my Olympus point and shoot to get some practice with focus - and so first off, she focused on me
A crab spider
Yu Hyun catching me in the undergrowth - setting up for the crab spider photo
Then Yu Hyun focused on herself - not so focused
Then me again
Then tree tops - I like this
Now serious crab spider hunting. We have "scientifically" determined that crab spiders often hide in flowers - so I have been closely inspecting flowers for the past several months. Sure enough - today was no exception and I found a couple of crab spiders today - hiding in yellow flowers
She was quite shy and hid behind the flower
More hiding
Then a micro-orchid
Then a surprise - Telamonia dimidiata (a jumping spider) on the morning glory flower
And like the crab spider - she was a bit shy - and starts to disappear

Hiding
Near by - a Leucauge trying to catch an insect
